I found this dental office from researching online. They had excellent reviews. My 98 year old aunt lives in an assisted living home about 2 miles away and she needed dental work. I made an appointment and took her. She got x-rays and an exam and they addressed a couple issues. They also repaired a chipped front tooth. She came out of the office with a huge smile on her face to show me her fixed front tooth. She was VERY pleased. The dentist came out to speak to me to inform me of what they had done and next steps. She needs a tooth pulled and he gave me a referral to an oral surgeon. I made an appointment to take her back to get her teeth cleaned. She kept telling me how happy she was with her new dentist.

I am terrified of dentist haven’t been in years I thought all the good reviews were fake but I was wrong! They are amazing I’ll be coming back again and again! Truly caring, accommodating, listening, and love what they do. I now can’t wait for my next appointment

Everyone was kind, professional, and explained everything clearly and thoroughly. Most of all I felt heard regarding my priorities and long term goals. Shout out to Dr. Hertz and Julia for making me feel comfortable and a great first appointment!

The whole team is great. I also like that they have early AM appointments available. The dental care is top notch and the whole team is thoughtful. I highly recommend this office. I forgot to mention that I'm new to York and 1447 was recommended by my neighbor who has been going there for years.

My teeth always feel so amazing after my visits with Tonya. She’s VERY thorough and explains everything she does, no matter who you are or how many times you’ve been in her chair. Everyone at the office is friendly, welcoming, and professional. They all make going to the dentist a much more enjoyable experience.

As someone with dental anxiety, I was very nervous for my first visit—but the entire team was kind, patient, and reassuring. The hygienist and dentist explained everything and made sure I was comfortable throughout the visit. I had a very positive experience, and I’m so grateful to have found this office!

So as most of us, I hate to dentist. I actually haven’t been there in quite a few years. I had a tooth break, and the sharpness was irritating my tongue and I had no choice, but to go to the dentist I had called around to several offices, and of course everyone wanted money upfront, except for this one. I was searching through Google and making phone calls, but simply because they weren’t charging me upfront is why I went there. I realized I have went to this office a very long time ago, and the name had changed. The dentist I originally used there is no longer there. so I go to my appointment and I would tell you that I felt this though everyone was really nice to deal with. They came and checked me out and said that the dentist would be with me shortly then when he came in, of course he asked me several questions they took an x-ray and he actually did the repair immediately. I would like to share with you that Charles Hertz was one of the nicest people that you could ever run into I do believe that he actually cared and listened to what I said I was really impressed. I would recommend him to anyone. In fact I did. My mother is 90 years old and she was in need of having a tooth removed and he told me to send her in and they will see what they can do for her. every once in a while in life, you stumble onto something good and this is how I feel about Charles!!!

I just had my first appointment and walked away very impressed! The dental hygienist, Jen was awesome and Dr. Kruth was very patient and took the time to explain everything in detail. I am looking forward to going back!

Normally I take a little while to leave reviews, but I absolutely had to do this one because of the amazing experience I had with the staff here. From the moment I booked my appointment to the time I walked out, everything felt seamless, professional, and genuinely welcoming. Nicole at the front desk was the first person I spoke to, and she set the tone right away. She was so kind, helpful, and made scheduling my appointment easy. When I arrived, that same warmth carried through—her smile was truly contagious. Dr. Charles Hertz was incredibly thorough and attentive. He made sure nothing was overlooked and also gave me clear, practical recommendations on how to continue to uphold my dental care moving forward, which I really appreciated. Tonya did my dental cleaning and was absolutely amazing—gentle, detailed, and very patient. After my cleaning, she even took the time to show me how to properly floss, which made me feel that much more comfortable and confident in taking care of my teeth at home. Julia assisted with my exam work and was just as great—very knowledgeable, precise, and made me feel completely at ease. What really stood out to me was the atmosphere. Everyone there has such a genuine, welcoming energy—you can feel that they love what they do and truly care about their patients. The smiles are contagious, and it makes a big difference when you’re in a setting like that. If you’re looking for a dental team that is professional, thorough, and truly passionate about their work, I highly recommend them. This was easily one of the best experiences I’ve had.

Decided to change dentists after 30 years due to a variety of reasons. I was referred to 1447 by a friend and had my first appt yesterday. Excellent first impression! All of the staff were super welcoming, knowledgeable and professional. Dr. Hertz was very personable and thorough in his exam. I felt like he actually cared about my concerns and questions, rather than a placating in and out. Quite refreshing and reassuring. Time will be the proof, but a great start.
